Last time I talked about the importance of being intentional and the benefits that come with that particular lifestyle change.

Today I want to talk about some (hopefully) practical, simple ways you can make that change and implement a sense of intentionality into your life.

First of all, I believe you are the best person to analyze and change your own life. You are the best person to look at your life and routine and know what needs to change.

But I’m going to list a just a few things that come to my mind, some of which I personally need to work on, that are probably universal enough to be adapted to your own life as well. I’ve listed five points here, but there are countless other ways to be intentional in our lives that I’m sure we can come up with as we go about our daily lives. Continue reading →

Too many of us are not living our dreams, because we are living our fears.
~ Les Brown

I’ve touched on this topic of fear more than once, but I think it really bears repeating.

I’ve been held back by my fears more times than I can count, and I know how detrimental it can be to one’s life and confidence. But because my confidence is not founded in myself but in the One who is the very essence of peace, courage, and confidence, I know that it’s very possible to reject those fears and truly live out my dreams and the purpose God has for me.

And if it’s possible for me, one of the most timid Tim’s out there, then I know for sure you can do it, too.

“For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid,
but gives us power, love and self-discipline.”
2 Timothy 1.7

“Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realise they were the big things.”

– Robert Brault

I’m a highly introverted person, which means that often I can get so caught up in my own inner world of thoughts and ideas that I miss things going on in the external world around me. I can be oblivious to the little joys and details and intricacies of life and nature.

Not to say that my inner world isn’t full of its own small happinesses and enjoyments, but a lot of my time is occupied by obsessing and analyzing over the big things of my life, the huge, monumental aspects of life that I’m aspiring to or dreaming about.
